Ready to level up your diving? The NAUI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Depth Finder’s Scuba is built for certified divers who want more confidence, more capability, and access to dives that go way beyond “look, a fish!”This program puts you in real-world scenarios with hands-on skills, small group coaching, and epic freshwater spring dives.
Featured Dive Locations:
• Blue Grotto: Famous freshwater cavern, crystal-clear visibility, and incredible training environment
• Paradise Springs: Deeper limestone spring with dramatic light and geology

Course Training Dives (6 Total):
All students complete:
• Deep Dive
• Navigation Dive
• Night Dive
Plus 3 additional dives based on your goals and interest (examples include Buoyancy, Full Face Mask, Search & Recovery, etc.)
What’s Included:
• Six Advanced Training Dives
• Night Dive Experience
• NAUI eLearning (completed prior to course)
• Tanks & air fills for all dives
• Wetsuit
• Lead weights
• Certification upon completion
Required Gear:
• Standard dive gear (rental BCD/Regulator/Computer available if needed)
• Slate & dive lights
• SMB & reel (required for boat diving in other options, good practice here too)
• Lodging/Accommodations if staying at Blue Grotto — cabins available and affordable
Course Schedule:
• Friday Evening — Classroom & paperwork at Depth Finder’s Scuba
• Saturday — Three spring dives at Blue Grotto (including the night dive!)
• Sunday — Additional dives at Blue Grotto or Paradise Springs for deeper profiles
Small Class Philosophy:
We keep group sizes small to ensure personal attention, better safety, and more meaningful skill development. No cattle-boat vibes here — just solid training and great diving.
