We are pleased to announce a very special series of private charters, exploring the fantastic Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, using two of their industrial Ruston and Hornsby shunters. The Ruston locos are very rarely used for passenger operations.Passengers will be accommodated in an LMS brake van. Main line coverage will feature haulage by Class 26 26038.
The charter is expected to include the Goods Shed, Running Shed, Coal Road headshunt, Bo'ness station headshunt, Bo'ness station Loop and Signal Box headshunt. On the main line we expect to cover Birkhill Station Loop, Manuel Loop and Headshunt, Link Line and Bo'ness bay platform.
A photo stop opportunity will be provided at Manuel.
Each trip is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
A souvenir map and stocklist will be provided, with thanks to Peter Scott, Martyn Brailsford and Gary Lonsdale.
AM trips will depart at 09:00 and PM trips will depart at 14:00, and expected to last three hours each.
Event is repeated Sunday 2 Feb.
