In the exhibition Bones of Graphene, Skin of Kevlar at MU Hybrid Art House, Julius Thissen creates futuristic transgender figures that embody the ancestral power of queer predecessors and counterbalance the dangers of our time. Within these images, Thissen captures the tensions and threats faced by transgender people, then translates them into forms that contribute to an empowering transformation.
Together with Julius himself, you will explore the exhibition space and come face to face with its inhabitants; the armoured Anthros, the tender and playful Hybrids and the intimidating Beast, and discover the many stories, visions, and futures they embody.

This ticket serves as both your registration for the guided tour and your admission ticket to MU.
With this ticket, you can visit all of MU's exhibition spaces during regular opening hours, including Bones of Graphene, Skin of Kevlar, and Pulse Uprising by Vida Kashani, Amir Komelizadeh, and Siavash Yazdanmehr.
Your tour booking is specifically for this event, but you are welcome to explore the museum before or after the tour. The ticket remains valid throughout the day.
