Abhangs are devotional poetry sung in praise of the almighty and serve as exuberant expressions of the communitarian experience. Bolava Vitthal was initiated with the objective of showcasing this rare folk art of Western India across various locations in India.


This year, on the auspicious eve of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Bolava Vitthal will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 6:30 pm onwards at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru. The concert will feature renowned vocalists Aarya Ambekar and Jayateerth Mevundi.
