Hello Shipley! Apollo is coming back! Some of you may well remember the water bus that ran along this stretch of the Leeds and Liverpool. Well she is back on her old territory but looking much more like she should. No longer carrying over 40 passengers we carry only 12 for a much more personal experience.
Climb aboard Apollo for a 90 minute journey along Yorkshire’s historic waterways on our lovingly preserved working narrow boat. on the Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of March.
More than a sightseeing cruise, this is a true canal experience. Spend time with our welcoming crew, learn about traditional narrow boat life, and get hands-on with the day-to-day workings that keep a historic boat moving. Along the way, enjoy stories of Yorkshire’s industrial past and canal traditions.
With extra time to settle in and soak up the atmosphere, this trip offers the perfect mix of heritage, involvement, and unhurried cruising.
