Come join fellow board members from other nonprofits in the Wiregrass on September 10, 2025, at The Forum to experience a fast-moving, eye-opening discussion about your responsibilities as a board member in the area of financial oversight. We have invited Melissa Metcalf Le Roy back after a highly informative session with the Executive Directors.
Melissa is an expert in communicating the fiduciary responsibilities of board members in layman's terms, providing opportunities for you to follow up to ensure that you are protecting your 501(c)(3) non-profit status and maintaining compliance with the IRS standards of running a nonprofit enterprise. Please mark your calendar and make it a priority to attend so you can partner with your Executive Director in following these guidelines..
Registration Information :
This annual workshop is for Board Members of Nonprofit Organizations in Houston, Henry, Dale, and Geneva counties only. Staff and Executive Directors will have opportunities to attend future workshops. Doors open at 10:30AM, and lunch is provided.
