Blueprint for change: a collaborative approach to advancing palliative care

Join us as we reflect on the positive change being made in end-of-life-care in the Highlands and consider how these successes could provide a template for better palliative care across Scotland.

This afternoon session will focus on the work of the End of Life Care Together partnership and look at why the system has been labelled “of global significance” by Professor Sir Muir Gray, one of the world’s leading experts on ageing.

Our panel will look at real world examples from the perspective of local GP practices, the Scottish Ambulance Service and beyond to demonstrate the ways in which the End of Life Care Together partnership is reshaping the palliative care landscape.

Taking the format of an informal discussion the event will feature thought-provoking debate on the significance of collaboration and relationship-building when seeking to add value to a fragmented public services landscape.

Hosted by award-winning broadcaster, journalist and producer Pennie Latin Stuart, the symposium will also provide an opportunity to ask questions of panel members:
