Blue Jean Mile

Join us at Get Fit on Hillside for the ASICS Blue Jean Mile, a free, community-driven event centered around movement and mental health awareness. In partnership with ASICS, we’re inviting runners, walkers, and community members of all ages and fitness levels to come together for a one-mile run or walk to support National Alliance on Mental Illness continue the conversation around mental health in our local community.

The event will take place on May 30 at 9:00 AM at our Hillside location. Participants are encouraged to wear blue jeans as part of the Blue Jean Mile tradition.

We’ll be giving away 50 free event shirts and 50 free meal tickets to Blue Sky on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to arrive early. In addition, Get Fit Amarillo and ASICS will be donating to National Alliance on Mental Illness for every ASICS shoe purchased during the event, and anyone who shops in-store wearing blue jeans will receive $5 off ASICS shoes.

Whether you come to run, walk, shop, or simply be part of the community, this event is about showing up, supporting one another, and taking a step toward a stronger, healthier future.
