Join us Saturday September 19th 2026 at 9 am CST for our inaugural Miles for Merrick, a community 5K and 1 Mile walk/run.This event is inspired by Merrick and the joy and strength shown by children and families living with conditions that require special attention and care.
Everyone who registers by September 1st deadline will receive a race T-shirt and finisher medal as part of their entry.

Miles for Merrick is about more than just walking and running miles, it’s about bringing together families and friends to support one another, raise awareness, and make a meaningful impact in our community.
A portion of proceeds from this event will go to the Turn Center in Amarillo, a nonprofit organization that provides therapy services and support to children with developmental challenges. The Turn Center plays an incredible role in helping Merrick and other kids in need in our community reach their fullest potential, and we're proud to give back to support their mission.
Timing for this race will be provided by the Amarillo Lone Star Runners Club.
