Join BLOOM365 at the NOVA Annual Training Event for Our 6th Annual Teen Track!

We’re thrilled to return to the NOVA Annual Training Event and host our 6th Annual Teen Track — a dynamic, four-day Peer Advocate Training Academy designed to empower and educate teens (ages 13-18) to foster safe, healthy relationships and take action against abuse. This immersive experience will unite teens from across the U.S. and beyond to work together towards one shared mission: Ending abuse within a generation.

Over the course of four days, Teen Track participants will engage in inspiring, hands-on training through four key focus areas:

TRACK 1: EDUCATE
Identify the warning signs, root causes, and risk factors of interpersonal violence — including dating violence, sexual assault, domestic violence, gender-based violence, and stalking. Strengthen skills for building and maintaining healthy relationships.

TRACK 2: ADVOCATE
Learn how to support peers who are witnessing or experiencing abuse by practicing the L.E.V.E.L.™ approach: Listen. Empathize. Validate. Encourage. Link to resources.

TRACK 3: ACTIVATE
Gain the tools to engage 10% of your peers and trusted adults in local schools and communities to advocate for safety, respect, consent, and empathy as everyday social norms.

TRACK 4: AMPLIFY
Elevate teen voices and lived experiences to ignite change and challenge the root causes of interpersonal violence and abuse.

BLOOM365 is excited to offer a limited number of no-cost, needs-based registration scholarships for teens who would like to attend the Teen Track at the 51st Annual NOVA Training Event in San Francisco. These scholarships are available for teens whose families fall at or below the ALICE threshold.

What is ALICE?
ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed — a term that describes families who are unable to afford basic necessities such as housing, child care, food, transportation, health care, and technology. ALICE workers provide vital services to our communities, including roles in victim advocacy, child care, healthcare, security, retail, and more. Despite their essential work, these families often earn less than what is needed to meet basic living expenses.

Who is eligible?
Scholarships are available to teens whose parent(s)/caregiver(s)/families meet the ALICE criteria.

The scholarship includes:

• Free Teen Track registration
• Lunch and snacks each day
