BLESSING BASKETS INITIATIVE

In 2023, The National Landing Team launched the Blessing Baskets initiative with a simple idea: to bring hope and dignity to families during Thanksgiving. With overwhelming support, we filled and shared 110 baskets with families connected to Lake Braddock Secondary School.

In 2024, the initiative grew — with neighbors, friends, and local partners stepping in — almost 300 families were supported.

Now in 2025, our goal is bold: 500 families nourished with food, love, and a sense of belonging this Thanksgiving.

• Canned Green Beans
• Canned Corn
• Stuffing Mix
• Canned Gravy
• Canned Cranberry Sauce
• Boxed Cornbread/Biscuit Mix
• Canned Sweet Potatoes
• Crispy Onions
• Cream of Mushroom Soup
• Boxed Mac and Cheese
• Powdered Milk
• A $20 grocery store gift card for the family to purchase a protein for their meal
