About this Event

Blackheath High School is a central London school for girls aged 3-18, situated on the edge of Royal Greenwich Park with a beautiful village feel, a stone's throw from Canary Wharf and the City.

We are on a mission to empower girls to dream big, think differently and achieve the extraordinary. Blackheath High is more than just a school - we’re a launchpad for future leaders, creatives, changemakers, and trailblazers. This is a place where girls boldly go.

We warmly invite you and your daughter to join us for our Senior ‘School in Action’ Morning on Thursday 8 October and experience the vibrancy of our school on a typical teaching day.

What to expect:

• Guided tours: Our friendly students will lead you through our state-of-the-art environment, offering you a firsthand look at our teaching and learning spaces, our specialist sports facilities, inspirational performance areas and much more
• Classroom insights: Observe lessons in action and witness the exceptional teaching and ambitious curriculum that saw Blackheath High achieve its highest ever GCSE and A-level results in 2025
• Head’s Talk: hear from our Head Mrs Argile about what sets Blackheath High apart as a truly inspiring and supportive environment for girls to thrive
• Meet the team: Chat with members of our Senior Leadership and Admissions teams, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

As part of our sustainability commitment and limited on-site space, we are unable to accommodate visitor parking on site. We would encourage you to use public transport, cycle or walk. Both sites are very well served by mainline trains and buses – please check TFL for more details.

By train: The nearest railway station is Westcombe Park, which is served by trains from St Pancras International, Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars, Waterloo East, Cannon Street, London Bridge, London Charing Cross and Dartford.

By Docklands Light Railway (DLR): The nearest DLR stations are Greenwich (at Greenwich Railway Station) and Cutty Sark (for Maritime Greenwich).

By bus: Bus routes 53, 54, 108, 202, 286, 380 and 386 all stop nearby.
