Black Sheep Brass Band is based out of Sonoma County, in the North Bay Area of California. Together we have created our own unique brand of California grown, 100% certified #BRASSfedFUNK, that permeates all layers of being.

From the uptown to the get-down, it’s time for the Black Sheep to vibrate y’all to the good sound, all around.

Band Happenings

Black Sheep Brass Band was recognized by the NPR Tiny Desk Concert Series as “purveyors of over-sized sounds”. With horns, saxophones, and drums that get people moving and grooving on any occasion, BSBB has continued to receive recognition for their funky, original tunes. In 2017 BSBB had the honor of being selected by NPR to perform alongside Tank and the Bangas, during their National Tour stop in Petaluma, CA. BSBB has also shared the stage with these other notable acts: Railroad Earth, MarchFourth Marching Band, The Polish Ambassador, Ayla Nereo, among others.
