About this Event
This inaugural Studios & Stories event in Nashville, is supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library with a goal of funding a full year of books for children across Middle Tennessee.
Hosted inside Black River’s recording studios, this experience brings together hitmakers, storytellers, and the community to create music and change lives in real time.
Choose between two experiences happening the same day.
THE WRITE
Step inside a real Nashville co-write.
- Ages 14–18
- 3 students to 1 professional songwriter
- Demo provided following session
- 3 hour VIP experience including lunch and experience photos

STORIES IN THE STUDIO
Watch a song come to life, then settle in for a guest artist reading an Imagination Library classic.
- All ages
- Groups of up to 30
- Step inside a working Nashville recording studio for a live 30-minute session
- Then join a guest artist in Ronnie’s Place Studio for a live ILMT storybook reading
