Black Minds Connect

Meet accomplished Black Rice alumni across industries, hear the real stories behind their careers, and build connections that can last.
About this Event

Black Minds Connect is an evening bringing together Rice students and alumni for meaningful conversations about careers, life after Rice, mentorship, and the paths that brought our alumni where they are today. While the event centers Black excellence and the experiences of Black Rice alumni, everyone is welcome to attend, learn, network, and build meaningful connections.

This isn't your typical networking mixer.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• 🎤 Hear directly from accomplished Black Rice alumni
• 💬 Ask honest questions about careers, internships, recruiting, and life after Rice
• 🤝 Meet alumni in industries you're interested in
• ☕ Find a potential mentor or set up a coffee chat
• 📸 Connect with fellow students and alumni
• 🍽️ Enjoy food, drinks, music, and an engaging social atmosphere

Whether you're a freshman figuring out what you want to do, or a senior preparing for the job market, there's something for you in the room.
