Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter, pianist, and national radio host Laila Biali has headlined major venues and festivals across five continents, from Carnegie Hall in New York to Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts, and has shared the stage with international icon Sting. Her self-titled 2019 album earned a JUNO Award for “Vocal Jazz Album of the Year,” and she has also received the Hagood Hardy Award for Excellence in Songwriting along with top honors at the Canadian Songwriting Competition and Canada’s National Jazz Awards, where she was named both “Composer of the Year” and “Keyboardist of the Year.”
