About this Event

Join Oshun's Garden for our inaugural Black Maternal Health Walk & Stroll to kick off Black Maternal Health Week 2026.

This community-centered walk opened to all in order to raise awareness about Black maternal health and the need to advance birth equity on Maryland's Eastern Shore. There will be a one mile walk followed by a mini community fair. The fair will consist of health and wellness vendors, food, music, giveaways, kids activities, and more.

Under the Black Mamas Matter Alliance 2026 BMHW theme "Rooted in Justice and Joy," we are bringing the community together to move, connect, and celebrate.
