This Black Mass is a modern Satanic twist on a Catholic Mass, and a celebration of PRIDE through sovereign identity, radical compassion, and unapologetic authenticity. Using reflection, ritual, and shared community, we gather to honor the beauty of existing openly in a world that too often demands masks.
This is not a performance of perfection - it is a recognition of survival, joy, resistance, and pride as practice. All who value empathy, self-determination, and the freedom to become are welcome.
The Mass itself is short (under 20 minutes), delivered by TST Austin Co-Congregation Head, Minister Io Locke. Io likes to make his point quickly and succinctly, because he hated sitting in church for 2 hours listening to someone blab. The message will empower the listener to stand in their truth by practicing sovereignty, supported by an amazing community!
2pm Doors Open - giving folks time to get drinks, food and settle in!
Mass will start when the bar line thins out - probably around 3-330pm.
Tickets start at $6.66- mostly for safety, people are less likely to cause a disruption when we have their information. We will have licensed security and TST Austin members to assist folks!
We acknowledge the economy sucks and so if the ticket price is the thing that keeps you from coming, email Io @ [email protected] as he has a limited number of promotional tickets to give to folks in need. No one else will know. Your ticket will look and act like everyone elses!
There will be merch for sale, including professionally printed, customized Certificates of Affirmation for those who pre-purchase them via the ticket option!
The venue has a full bar and food available, and while there is plenty of parking, consider ridesharing with others to reduce the traffic load.
