About this Event
Black Liberation: A Tale of Two Sides is a powerful, immersive art experience that explores the balance between Black joy and Black resistance. This exhibition brings together painting, sculpture, and designer toys to tell a story that is both deeply rooted in history and alive in the present moment.
At the center of the show is the Geo and Friends crew, a group of city kids inspired by street culture, graffiti, and the everyday rhythm of urban life. Through their lens, the exhibit captures the energy, resilience, and creativity that define the Black experience.
Guests will move through two interconnected narratives: one highlighting struggle, resistance, and the fight for liberation, and the other celebrating joy, community, and self-expression. Together, these perspectives offer a fuller, more honest story of what it means to be free.
This is more than an art show, it’s a cultural experience. Expect bold visuals, storytelling rooted in the streets, and moments that invite reflection, connection, and celebration.
Come experience liberation in all its forms.
