About this Event

Join Lighthouse Foundation of Chicagoland for the third annual Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day, a vibrant summer celebration of joy, visibility, and community for Black LGBTQ+ individuals across Chicagoland!

Following a powerful 2025 experience with nearly 400 people in attendance, we’re returning in 2026 with our biggest and most impactful Beach Day yet.

Black LGBTQ+ Beach Day is more than a Pride event. It’s a space to reclaim joy, deepen community connection, and access vital resources in an affirming, celebratory environment. Expect a full day filled with music, games, food, wellness activations, and cultural connection, all designed to uplift and empower Black LGBTQ+ lives.
