Join us on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM at The Essential Gathering Place (5001 N. 42nd St.) for an inspiring Black History Month celebration focusing on Black identity, Black power, and Black wellness!This free community event, hosted by Building Our Own LLC, will feature:
Leo Louis – A powerful voice on Black identity.
Shomari Huggins – Captivating us with the rhythm of the African drum. Lamont Gilchrist – Sharing his wisdom on Black wellness and empowerment.
Kara Warner – Our dynamic MC, guiding us through the afternoon.
Lunch will be provided, but seating is limited to 130
attendees. Please RSVP to secure your spot and help us plan for lunch.
Let’s come together as a community to celebrate our heritage, uplift each other, and deepen our understanding of our identity and power.
