About this Event
Please note: this event is strictly for black gay men 30+.
Black Gay Love on Screen is an intimate, alcohol-free community event for Black gay men aged 30 and above. The evening begins with a screening of Noah’s Arc, a landmark film highlighting Black queer male love and relationships.
There will be a short comfort break after the screening where attendees are invited to bring snacks and drinks to share with others.
Following the short break, attendees will participate in small-group conversations (4–6 people per group) designed to foster connection, reflection, and shared joy. Conversation prompts will focus on themes such as personal growth, authentic relationships, and creating joy in everyday life.
The goal of the event is to provide a safe, supportive, and intentional space outside of traditional nightlife, where Black gay men can come together, be seen, and connect on a meaningful level. This event is part of a larger initiative, The Scene – 30+, dedicated to creating community and intentional social spaces for Black gay men over 30 in London.
