See the Black & White Plus One Challenge Quilt Exhibit presented by The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show, May 14-June 20, 2026 in Downtown Beaver Dam WI!
FREE! To Attend! Open to the Public! View The Black & White Plus One Traveling Quilt Collection featuring 68 30-inch x 40-inch wall quilts made by quiltmakers from across the united states.
Participants were challenged to create a wall quilt using only black and white fabrics, plus one additional, specific accent color of their choosing, resulting in high-contrast, dramatic quilt designs.
11am-5pm Wednesday through Sunday

Make plans to join us for our annual Bed Turning Event at The Dodge County Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 13--during The 2026 Wisconsin Arts & Peony Festival.
The Nancy Zieman Sewing Studio & Quilt Shop is Sponsoring the Annual Bed Turning Event at The Dodge County Center for the Arts during The 2026 Wisconsin Arts & Peony Festival on Saturday, June 13, in Downtown Beaver Dam Wisconsin. Presentations start promptly at 11am, and 1 pm.
A Bed-Turning is a way to display quilts while telling their story. Bed turnings originated long ago as a social event. Quilts are placed on top of one another on a bed. The hosts then turn back each quilt, one by one, as stories are shared about each quilt.
