About this Event

The Black Agenda Summit is a day-long community engagement and civic empowerment event designed to bring together residents, community leaders, advocates, and stakeholders to examine the issues most affecting Black communities in Northern Virginia and identify opportunities for collective action.

The Summit will provide space for education, dialogue, strategy, and action around key areas that shape the well-being and future of our community. Participants will begin with a plenary session before engaging in interactive breakout sessions focused on education, health, political action, criminal justice, economic development, and housing/homeownership.

Through these conversations, participants will have an opportunity to share experiences, learn from subject-matter experts, identify community priorities, and consider practical strategies for advancing equity and opportunity. The day will conclude with a closing session focused on next steps and continued engagement, moving the conversation from ideas to action.
