BKLYN Plays BKLYN: Ayumi Ishito Group

BKLYN Plays BKLYN is a new concert series hosted by PLG Arts that celebrates Brooklyn-based musicians with free concerts at venues throughout the Prospect-Lefferts Gardens neighborhood.

Led by Japanese-born saxophonist , this group crafts experimental, instrumental rock infused with jazz, fusion, prog, and indie influences. Accompanied by guitars, bass, drums, and synthesizers, Ishito’s compositions explore free improvisation, noise textures, and sonic soundscapes with mesmerizing grace—resulting in an imaginative, boundary-pushing musical journey.
