Bits!: One-Day Beginner Workshop

Designed to practice hand-skills, this fast-paced workshop will go over the basics of applying bits to your glasswork. Focus will be on refining skills and less on making finished objects. Students will learn several types of bits and their uses. At least one beginning glassblowing course is recommended.

Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets into the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services, Pamela Weichmann. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
