Hello! I’m Chef Matthew Hensley, former Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director at Cherokee Yacht Club, and a proud member of the Grand Lake culinary community for 18 years. My culinary adventure started alongside my mom at Tera Miranda, followed by an exciting leap into fine dining at Shangri-La, which sparked my lifelong passion for creative cuisine. Throughout my career, I’ve loved introducing flavors from around the world to our local food scene and sharing the joy of great food with friends, family, and guests—one delicious bite at a time.
In these classes, I’ll be sharing approachable, versatile recipes designed to make cooking fun and stress-free. Whether you’re new to the kitchen or a seasoned home chef, you’ll learn techniques and tips to impress your own friends and family.
