Join us for our event night talk on Monday 14th September we have guest speaker Robin Pearce to talk to us about Ornamental Grasses and Ferns.
Robin is a retired nurseryman with a passion for ornamental grasses and hardy ferns, his nursery had one of the largest selections of grasses and ferns in the UK. His talk will begin with an introduction to ornamental grasses, sedges, rushes and hardy ferns giving suggestions on how they can be used in the garden. Robin will describe in more detail a selection of the best plants available, including new introductions.
Robin will have ornamental grasses for sale after the talk, so bring cash along for some new plants!
Please do join us for tea or coffee and some delicious homemade cake too. Our raffle will also be available on the night.
If anyone wishes to bring along excess plants (flowers and/or vegetables), please feel free to do so. All monetary donations received will go towards Club funds.
