BirthCare Community Gathering - Celebrating 38 Years of Serving Families

Join us for a special day at the park as we celebrate over 38 years of serving our community! BirthCare & Women's Health invites all current and prospective families to come together for an afternoon filled with fun, connection, and celebration. This event is open to all BirthCare families and anyone who would like to join our BirthCare family.

Enjoy a variety of activities for all ages, delicious food, and the opportunity to meet other families who have been part of our journey. Whether you're a longtime member or new to BirthCare, this is the perfect chance to celebrate the incredible work we’ve done together and look forward to the future!

Our event area is located right next to Chessie's BIG Backyard playground. This Chesapeake Bay themed inclusive playground features an accessible 5-12 age play structure with tons of opportunities for kids to climb, slide, run and have fun. If you like running through the sprinkler, you’ll love Chessie's Harbor. The harbor is an accessible Chesapeake-Bay themed sprayground has fun features including a spraying osprey nest, Chessie the sea serpent, misting sunflowers and a lighthouse. The beach area is quieter with softer bubblers and interactive water tables. The computerized water maze and dumping crab basket provide more lively activity.

For safety, children (15 years and younger) enjoying the spray park, MUST wear aquatic shoes or sandals with a manufactured back strap at all times; non-standing, non-mobile, babies are exempt; adults may wear flip-flops instead of aquatic shoes or sandals with a manufactured back strap. Street shoes are NOT PERMITTED in the sprayground.
