About this Event

This course is for couples who are planning to birth at The Royal London Hospital. Please only book ONE ticket as this covers both you and your birth partner. Please cancel your ticket promptly if it is no longer needed to enable another couple the opportunity to book in too.

• Birth settings, preparing for birth, discuss breathing techniques and support partner ideas
• Physiology of labour and birth, positions that may help, when to pack, when to leave home and how to travel
• Deviations from physiological labour, medical interventions, induction, both medical and natural
• Methods of pain relief
• What to expect in the postnatal period, postnatal care and recovery and care of the newborn
