Birmingham Autism and ADHD Summit 2025

🗓 Wednesday 15th July 2026

🕘 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (doors open 9:15AM)

📍 Midlands Arts Centre, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH

Following the success of last year’s Birmingham Autism and ADHD Summit, the Birmingham Autism and ADHD Partnership Board is delighted to announce the return of this important event in 2026.

This year’s Summit will bring together citizens, families, carers, and professionals to listen, learn, share, and commit to transforming services and practices for Autistic people and/or people with ADHD. The theme for 2026 is:

“Women, Autism and ADHD”

Women's voices will be amplified, sharing their experiences as an autistic woman or woman with ADHD, raising awareness of the challenges neurodivergent girls and women face. Sessions will be running in two rooms. For a full programme of talks, see the agenda below.

Please note: you must choose a room programme for the event. There are capacity limits for each room due to health and safety regulations.

The event will feature a diverse range of speakers, with the majority bringing lived experience of Autism and/or ADHD, placing these voices at the heart of the conversation to inspire and drive meaningful change.

The agenda has been co-produced with board members and citizens with lived experience as equal partners.

Organisations will attending on the day to take part in sessions and share the great work they are doing supporting people in Birmingham, including Autism West Midlands, Resources for Autism, Autistic Girls Network, Maternity Autism Research Group (MARG) and more.

Learning from the day will be shared with Birmingham City Council commissioners, and will be used to inform the Birmingham Autism and ADHD Partnership Board (BAAPB) priorities. For more information about the current BAAPB priorities, please visit our webpage: Aims of the board | Birmingham Autism and ADHD Partnership Board | Birmingham City Council

The Summit is open to anyone who has an interest in improving the lives of autistic people and people with ADHD. People with lived experience, parents, carers, families and professionals are all welcome!

Lunch and refreshments provided. All available food on the day will be vegetarian.

The deadline for catering numbers is 6th July 2026. Please ensure you complete the additional questions when booking your ticket as soon as possible to let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Please note: There will be photography taking place at the Summit.
