Birding Walk at Biidaasige Park

Join TRCA for a spring bird hike through the unique landscape and ecology of Biidaasige Park. Educators will share the history of the park and lead a guided walk through the park's wetland and meadow ecosystems to observe both resident and migratory birds.

Binoculars and bird identification guides will be available for participants to use during the program.

This walk is part of TRCA's Spring Bird Festival at Tommy Thompson Park program series.

This event is intended for Ages 8+:

• Beginner level information
• Concepts that are friendly for all ages
• Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults

Date and Time: Sunday, May 3rd at 10:00am to 11:30am.

Walk Capacity: 25 participants.

Location: Biidaasige Park. Please meet your leader in front of the Old Fire Hall 30 located here.

Ticket Price: Tickets for this event are $17.00 + HST (plus Eventbrite fees).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests received by TRCA more than 14 days before the start of the program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 14 days before the start of the program do not qualify for a refund. Minimum registration numbers are required for the program to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the program due to low registration, a refund of the ticket price less Eventbrite fees will be issued. • Comfortable, close-toed shoes for the approximately 2km walk are recommended.
