HE BIRDS ARE FLYING AND WE WANT TO SEE THEMIts Oktober and therefore a peak in the east Atlantic bird migration. The temperatures are dropping, and all the pretty birds are moving to get southwards. We hope that some of them are taking a break in the Roskilde fjord so that we can take a look at them.
This event is open for people who have never seen bird in their life, members of the club 300 and everyone in between.
We are meeting on the 26.10.25 at 12pm infront of Café Fjordliv at the Roskilde fjord.
We will then take a walk on the west side of the fjord, to try to see some nice birds.

I have worked as an educator in a national park, so I will try to scramble together some of my knowledge to explain the basics of birdwatching, identification, bird migration and why they are the goofiest animals on this planet.
RUF can provide some binoculars, but we only have a limited amount, so bring one yourself, if you have on lying around. Dress according to weather. We will spend some hours outside, so make sure that you are prepared for weather, wind and rain. Bring gloves, scarf, hats, tea and snacks<3
