About this Event

Join Colorado Women in STEM and the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range for an easy evening bird walk at Denver Audubon’s Kingery Nature Center. We’ll spend a couple hours spotting birds, picking up some fun facts, and enjoying the outdoors together. No birding experience needed and everyone is welcome, whether you’ve never picked up binoculars or you already know your warblers from your wrens.

Our guides for the evening are Jane Lee and Lexie Sierra-Martinez from Feminist Bird Club Denver. Jane fell in love with birding a few years ago hiking around the Rockies and now loves sharing what she’s learned on walks like this one. Lexie has been a lifelong nature nerd and co-founded the Denver chapter of Feminist Bird Club in 2020 to build a more inclusive birding community in the Front Range.

This is a joint event between two communities built on the same idea: that connection and belonging make the outdoors, and STEM, better for everyone.
Come spot some birds with us.
