Join Travis Audubon's Shelia Hargis and Hays County Parks staff for a bird behavior hike at Jacob’s Well Natural Area in Wimberley. This hike will last 2.5 hours during which we will walk approximately 1.5 miles.
The natural area encompasses several habitat types, including mixed oak–juniper woodland, savanna/prairie, and aquatic and riparian habitats. Along with year-round residents, we may encounter fall migrants such as flycatchers and warblers.
Admission and parking are free. Ample parking is available at the Jacob’s Well Natural Area parking lot C. The Jacob's Well Nature Center will be open to the public today until 3pm.
Registration Required. Registration and more information at the Travis Audubon website. https://travisaudubon.org/events-calendar
