BIPOC Minority Mental Health Awareness Hub
About this Event
Join the Iama Center at a community fair at 3200 Garrison Boulevard. Meet mental health professionals, mental health advocates, and individuals with lived experience in the BIPOC Mental Health Resource Hub to promote mental health awareness for BIPOC Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. We will facilitate panel discussion at 1pm for the community to hear from various mental health disciplines as they discuss the importance of mental health and faith, prioritizing our mental well-being, connect with local vendors showcasing products and services that promote self-care and wellness, and meet passionate mental health advocates committed to addressing the unique challenges affecting Black, Indigenous, People of Color. Join us for this in-person event to raise awareness, create a safe space for open and honest conversations, connect individuals with valuable culturally competent professionals and community resources, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health in minority communities. Together, we can empower one another, strengthen our community, and create a future where everyone feels supported, valued, and encouraged to seek the help they deserve.
