The biological psychiatry of depression
Depression is one of the most common mental illnesses, and therefore a lot of research on it. This makes it difficult to get an overview of theory and evidence related to the topic. Paul Hamilton comes to Forum to give us an insight into the biological basis of depression, and takes us through 5 perspectives.
Speaker Paul Hamilton is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biological and Medical Psychology at the University of Bergen. His research explores, amongst other things, biomarkers and the brain’s role in various mental conditions and disorders.
