Paul Guy is a distinguished medical science professional with 40 years of experience in both adult and pediatric clinical and research settings, in Australia and Qatar, having served Sidra Medical for a number of years. His expertise encompasses chronic lung disease, obesity, body composition, exercise physiology, instrumentation, and quality assurance. Paul has been instrumental in establishing new laboratories and services, demonstrating a commitment to advancing medical science.
Beyond his scientific pursuits, Paul has a keen interest in business management, finance, and governance. He has served on various boards and has been involved in successful start-up ventures within both commercial and not-for-profit sectors. As a healthcare consultant, Paul continues to contribute to the evolution of medical practices and technologies.
We are honored to have Paul Guy lead our upcoming career workshop on biomedical engineering-related careers, where he will share his extensive knowledge and experience with our university community.
