Biomechanics Clinic @ Taildragger Stable

Madison Cronin, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and lifelong equestrian specializing in performance-based physical therapy for riders. With competitive experience across dressage, hunter/jumpers, saddle seat, and harness racing, she brings a deep understanding of rider biomechanics and the physical demands of equestrian sport. Over the last four years, she has trained under Jennifer Mitchell, the current U.S. Equestrian Lead Physical Therapist. Through her mentorship and orthopedic physical therapy background, she blends elite-level rehabilitation principles with a practical understanding of equestrian athletes to help both the horse and rider to move better, ride more effectively, and perform at their highest potential.
This clinic is designed to help riders identify and address movement asymmetries, stability limitations, mobility restrictions, and compensation patterns that may influence communication, balance, and overall performance in the saddle. Each individual would receive an hour-long session that includes:
- Individual mounted and unmounted rider assessments
- Hands-on treatment and corrective techniques to address rider imbalance
- Rider-specific exercises and movement strategies in and out of the saddle
- A comprehensive home exercise program to reinforce adjustments and
continue progress after the clinic
This clinic is appropriate for riders of various disciplines and levels, whether the goal is improved performance, better symmetry and position, injury prevention, or returning to riding after injury.
