If you haven't explored and seen any Bioluminescence here in Florida, here is the place to see it. We will be hosting an event. This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Board) Event. We will be meeting at the boat ramp at Parrish Park in Titusville. We will paddle out to the island while witnessing the bioluminescence all around us.
Bioluminescent dinoflagellates are single-celled marine organisms that produce light through a chemical reaction called bioluminescence. This light emission, often blue or green, is triggered by disturbances in the water, such as movement or agitation. Dinoflagellates use this ability for various purposes, including attracting prey, deterring predators, or signaling to other dinoflagellates.
