Billy Lubach is a Norwich based composer multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He performs with a cast of classically trained and session musicians who give voice to his complex and intricate arrangements.
With a tremulous voice and the backing of his baroque folk ensemble, Billy Lubach weaves fragmented childhood memories and slivers of folklore into abstract but resonant narratives.
Since forming in 2020, Billy’s band has grown to a septet, with piano, saxophone, clarinet, cello, flute, double bass, trumpet, guitar, lap steel and percussion each lending its own sound.
Prior to this, Billy Lubach’s releases were entirely self-performed, with violin, cello and trumpet forming the core of his compositions.
Phoebe Troup
Phoebe Troup is a UK-based singer-songwriter and producer from Colorado, US. Phoebe makes DIY alt-folk, rock, and art-pop, taking inspiration from encounters with landscape, mythology & art. Her music ties an other-worldly sense of place from lyrics through to production, mixing sounds of crunching apples, rattling seashells and flintstones with distorted guitars, soft synths and vocal layering. Songs assemble scraps of images, memories, and ruminations to move between blunt realism and the uncanny imaginary.
Evie Rice
Evie is a Norwich-based singer with a lifelong love of music. Her style leans towards folk-pop and soft country, with a focus on warm, stripped-back vocals.
She also performs with her sister Lily as The Rice Sisters, and as part of Bore Joysey, a band led by Ed Harkness alongside Thea Gotterson, Tegan Uden, and Lily Rice.
