¡He perdido mi imaginación!
SPANISH EDITION:
Bilingual, dual-language immersion, and ESL Program Support
The NEW I’ve Lost Imagination - Spanish Edition (¡He perdido mi imaginación!) will serve as a vital resource in cultural connection, bilingual literacy and as an added resource for heritage speakers to maintain their first language, too. The English and Spanish versions of I’ve Lost My Imagination! and ¡He perdido mi imaginación! are two separate books rather than a single bilingual version. They provide a bridge for family literacy where parents and children can read the two versions side-by-side to learn together.
For 5-to-11-year-olds and because these are picture books, they transition from basic vocabulary to complex storytelling and character development. This age group is ideal for use of the books within dual-language classrooms, early independent readers, and parents seeking to build sustained bilingual fluency.
Also, because the NEW, I’ve Lost Imagination - Spanish Edition (¡He perdido mi imaginación!) is a fully separate edition, the biggest asset is that it provides an immersive, 100% Spanish-language experience without the distraction of English text on the page. This also makes it highly valuable for classrooms, bilingual households, and libraries looking to build their Spanish-only collections.
Stetson shares his favorite unplugged activities in an ABC book format. These activities are not in front of a screen or monitor, and do not use a handheld device, gaming console, tablet, laptop or computer. Stetson learned at a very young age how important it is to engage in physical play and movement away from technology. Unplugged activities and play foster creativity, improve social skills, and have both physical and mental health benefits, while building a strong foundation for learning and well-being that screens may impede.
