Bike to White River Campground

There will be a Saturday ride from Indianapolis leaving at 10:00 am and pedaling to White River Campground in Cicero, IN. Then on Sunday, Aug 23rd, there will be a return ride to Indianapolis. The trip will includes tent camping at the White River Campground (BYO tent and camping gear), an optional canoe / kayak trip, and it may include additional riding or hiking on the trails at Koteewi Park. Participants must be current members of Central Indiana Cycling.
This is approximately a 35-mile ride in each direction. Participants will be responsible for their own food and hydration during the ride. We'll be stopping at the grocery in Cicero a few miles before the White River Campground for supplies. The organization is reserving the campsites, 2 primitive and 1 with an electric hookup. Participants will be responsible for transporting and setting up their own camping gear. If participants are joining the Sunday morning canoe / kayak trip, they will be responsible for booking that themselves.
This ride / route does not have a sag vehicle. If you have a major mechanical issue or cannot finish the ride, you will need to call someone to pick you up.
Age Limitation - This ride is intended for riders age 16 and up. If a rider is under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
