Bike Rodeo and Bike Skills Course in El Monte

Join us for a fun and active bike skills course designed for young riders who are able to pedal independently without training wheels. Participants will rotate through stations that teach turning, signaling, scanning, braking, and safe riding. This is an excellent way for families to help new riders build confidence. Bikes and helmets are available to borrow. This event is part of the El Monte Mobility Nexus Program. For more information, visit www.elmontenexus.com.

What to Bring: A helmet if you have one, closed-toed shoes, a water bottle, and comfortable clothing for movementRegistration: Pre-registration is required for all participants. All participants must sign a waiver. A parent or guardian must sign for minors. Bikes and helmets are available on site while supplies last.

Cancellation Policy: If you register for the event and are no longer able to attend, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your spot to another participant.

If you do not cancel your reservation and do not attend the event, it will be recorded as a no-show and may affect your ability to reserve a spot at future events.

Heat Policy

Participant safety is our top priority. Please bring a water bottle and stay hydrated before, during, and after the ride. We also encourage participants to get enough sleep the night before, eat a healthy breakfast, wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing, and apply sunscreen. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if the ride is modified, postponed, or canceled.
