Join us for a special Hazeldale Bike Bus in honor of Ruby Bridges Day!
We’ll meet at Clausen Park at 7:15 AM and ride together to Hazeldale Elementary — or hop in along the route! It’s a short, fun 5-minute (0.5 mile) ride.
💜 About Ruby Bridges Day
Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day celebrates the courage of six-year-old Ruby Bridges, who in 1960 took historic steps to help racially integrate her elementary school in New Orleans.
By walking or biking to school on this day, students follow in her footsteps — standing up for kindness, inclusion, and equality in their own communities.

Route: Follow the bike bus route shown on the map (join anywhere along the way!)
