Join us for our Big Open Weekend on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th October 2025Enjoy lots of super fun activities, free taster lessons, friendly advice, special offers and more!
Come and take a look around, try various activities and meet our fantastic team – they will be on hand to answer all of your enquiries.
You don’t have to be a member of our leisure centre or have visited us before to get involved in our Big Open Weekend, so why not bring your friends and family along too?

- Free Swimming Lesson Tasters
Whether you're looking to sharpen your swim strokes or build confidence in the water, this special session is perfect for swimmers of all abilities. Led by expert instructors, it’s a great chance to dive in, learn new techniques, and enjoy the pool - exclusively free for the weekend!
Saturday: 9am - 2pm
Sunday: 10am - 2pm

- Meet & Greet characters
Get ready for a a fun-packed weekend full of entertaining activities for kids including 'Meet & Greet characters.'
No need to book, just turn up!
- Explorers Escape Soft Play
Explorers Escape is a purpose-built three-story soft play, featuring a Boulder Chase Challenge, Mine Cart Racing Open Slide, Climbing Volcano, Tree Trunk Inclined Crawl Tube, Temple Maze, and Lava slides, for children aged up to 12.
This exciting adventure area is ideal for kids to explore and enjoy!
Sessions bookable throughout our Big Open Weekend between 9.15am - 2.15pm.
Price: £10.50 per person (adults go free)
Children must be 1 metre tall to ride the slides.

- Aqua Challenge
Our brand-new, upgraded pool inflatable obstacle course is waiting for you to conquer! Jump, bounce, slip & slide – it's the perfect activity for friends and families!
Sessions running at dedicated times throughout the afternoon. Please see timetable on our website for session times.
Each person will be given a life jacket, making our new aqua challenge as safe and fun as possible.

- Family Swim
Looking for some splashing good fun for the kids? Our Totem Splash Pad and our Lagoon Pool comes with exciting slides, water canons, and a variety of interactive features, plenty to keep the little ones entertained!
Sessions running from 10am - 5.30pm.

• Take advantage of our exclusive Big Open Weekend Membership and other offers!

• We will have various displays and stands, with staff on hand to answer any questions about Leisure Centre memberships, classes, swimming lessons and more.
• Free car parking - please register your vehicle at the parking machine in reception.
