BIG Gay Movie: Free at Heart

From director Max Hegewald, 'Free at Heart' is a raw, intimate story of love, identity, and the courage it takes to be seen.
About this Event

In a quiet small town, 16-year-old Sebastian’s sheltered world is shattered when Kolja, the mysterious son of his father’s late friend, comes to live under his roof. What begins as distance and unease slowly transforms into an unbreakable bond… and a truth neither of them saw coming.

But as their connection deepens, the line between friendship and something more begins to blur. Sebastian is swept into the dizzying intensity of first love - one that feels as inevitable as it is forbidden. In a place where secrets don’t stay buried, their hidden relationship ignites a scandal that threatens to tear their family apart and exile them from everything they’ve ever known.
