The NZFH4X4 Big Four is coming to Nelson for 2026, running alongside the New Zealand Fishing, Hunting and 4X4 Expo at the Trafalgar Centre.
This is a slightly different Big Four format, built around the hunting and fishing opportunities that make the top of the South Island so special.
Whether you are chasing red deer, hunting boars, targeting snapper or going after kingfish, this is your chance to bring the crew together and take on one epic hunting and fishing challenge.
Big Four Nelson runs from 14 to 18 October 2026.
Teams must be back at the Trafalgar Centre from 12 pm on Sunday 18 October for weigh in, with prize giving held as part of the Expo.
For 2026, we will have prizes across the categories, overall winner prizes and a major prize pool of more than $30,000.
We have a number of great partners coming on board for Nelson, with more prize announcements to come.
The Big Four is built for people who live and breathe the outdoors. It is for the teams who are prepared to put in the work, plan the mission, hunt hard, fish smart and show up ready.
Entries will run through Flicket, making the process much more streamlined. Teams can enter their details, confirm their crew and pay through one platform.
Hunt and fish from Wednesday to Sunday.
Weigh in from 12 pm Sunday at the New Zealand Fishing, Hunting and 4X4 Expo, Trafalgar Centre, Nelson.
Animals and fish must be fresh.
