At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colchester we provide no-cost mentoring programs that strive to reach young people who face adversity and are in need of an additional supportive relationship. In addition to offering mentoring programs, we have Fundy Scoops that provides employment opportunities for local youth, including those involved in our mentorship programs. This social enterprise helps develop transferable skills these young people can take with them to other opportunities in the community and in their careers. With support from instrumental partners and funders we also offer back to school supports, summer snack programs and space to grow your own food. We also provide youth with the opportunity for scholarships, support with things like medical expenses, grad fees and extra curriculars through our Mentoring Matters Fund.The funds raised from our Big Night Out (previously known as our "Gala") will be put right back into our organization to be able to continue these programs and supports.
