Join us on our routine weekday social paddle. Times may adjust as the season continues!All paddle crafts and abilities welcomed. We will meet at the water for the scheduled time to prep our boats and discuss the route (times may adjust as the season continues)
This is a non-guided tour. A lead will be onsite to facilitate the group on this recreationable, but they are not a guide. Together as a group you will discuss safety and make a paddle plan. Please check in with your lead when you arrive.
Joining a social paddle means that you are:
- Insured (SPC members signed during registration on RAMP; non members must sign the waiver)
- Capable of self-rescue (in your water craft, in today’s weather conditions)
- Carrying mandatory safety gear: pfd, sound signalling device, throw line, bailer (kayaks)
- Dressing for the weather (cold, wind, rain, or immersion)
Provided we are getting into colder weather, and water, please be prepared for cold water paddling - plan for falling into water and dress accordingly!
